This season was the worst to come!

Everyone talks about everybody else character but completely disregard Allisons character they completely destroyed her. They made her the biggest villain yet her throat was cut in the first season by her sibling. Why is she being treated like an outsider so much! She’s been around the entire time I love Lila and alone but like seriously. They assassinated her character in the 3rd season!

1. Luther not thinking more about sloan and his gorila body dont make sense. 2. Laila and 5 had such nice platonic friendship they ruined that. 3. Noone power made sense. They tried to show their power overhauled but it was so weird and inconsistent. 4. They ruined klaus character so much. They didnt need to give him a B plot this season at all. I just hated his character so much this season 5. Victor story made sense but why the hell he was fighting the dad who didnt even do anything to him. 6. Ben being asshole was so irritating and him falling in love with jennifer was so weird and out of nowwhere. Like why he fell in love with her and no one else? Is it because he drank more marigold then anyone else? 7. I hated jean and gean (whatever the name) they were so annoying as ongoing evil people. 8. Thw whole situation of reginald wife giving these people marigold was so stupid. There was no marigold so there was no need to any world ending things to happen. The whole thing was stupid.

And then some random kids decide to eat the marigold flowers... P.S. Just about every show is about its scenes. Not to come off as pretentious, but I just don't really see how that's supposed to be some kind of... you know... revelation. It just seems like an excuse sorta?

Ellen Page looks terrible! She looks like she aged 30 years. She really needs to stop with the surgeries. This isn’t even to mention the voice! 😆 what is she even doing?

Pretty much agree with all of this. And most especially that a bad ending doesn't destroy the entire show. The one thing I'd add is that "surreal whimsy" defined the first three seasons. A sentient fish in a bowl on a body with zero explaination? Yes! Klaus with Hello and Bye tattooed on his palms and his cult followers doing the same? Yes! Giant bug filled samari haunting a multi dimensional hotel? Yes! And season four was just so bland. The best whimsy moment for me was Five discovering an All Five deli... except plot hole - no gas, itching or paranoia. So that got destroyed.

Season 4 didn't ruin the show's legacy for me but it was just crap writing and a lousy ending. There is nothing funny about the season and there was nothing engaging about it either. It was just a depressing and rather boring conclusion to what was a brilliant journey previously. And we agree, we'll watch it again, we will just stop at season 3. I seriously would love to see the writers just come back and do a rewrite of season 4 and do it correctly. Although this is never been done, wouldn't it be cool if the Umbrella Academy did it.

Not to mention if they were the ones who had get the rid of their marigold then every other persons born on their date would have to be eliminated also?

I think in spite of the show starting out as a great story with amazing visuals the whole "timeline" plot is always a dangerous road to nowhere. Or should i say train to nowhere? In the end creating a million different paradoxes was bound to get tired. That was still no excuse to rush season 4.

When i saw her Lila wiping Fives mouth in the Diner i was like "they better the fvcx not". Then i was like "thank god". Then i was like "omg they did it anyway!" Yeah they definitely coulda did better on this.

They've referred to Umbrella Ben's death as "The Jennifer Incident" before. Sparrow Ben had drawings of Jennifer. How did they not realize the connections? Also why did Umbrella Ben never tell Klaus how he really died??

Viktor was still able to power up when he was about to attack Allison before she pressed the button in the S3 Finale. So their abilities were still there after the marigold was sucked out.

Netflix's needs to learn that not every one of there shows needs a love subplot like they do it in stranger things too and it's so out of place

The show kept getting more and more woke season by season. The last one was the wokest, and surprise...the worst.

Man I'm so glad that Season 3 ended with them living their life without powers in peace and happy and there is no Season 4 or anything...

I've never understood why this show was so popular. While I can agree that the show has a unique ability for creating a fun atmosphere with some entertaining high-energy scenes, I cannot fathom how you come to view the characters as remotely likeable. Five is cool and Klaus is alright, but the other main characters are outright insufferable. I actually don't think the concept of the ending was that bad of an idea, it was just horribly handled. While season four may provide a particularly poor bookend to the series, let's not pretend the storytelling throughout all four seasons hasn't been abysmal.

God I’ve always hated Klaus. He reminds me of two guys I knew back in high school with the same quirky personality who loved to smoke weed and do other drugs. Both of these guys were once my friend but the older I’ve gotten the more I realize how much I disliked them for being such dickheads. The first I stopped talking to pretty early on because one day during a party were we were all smoking weed at his house and he invited one of his female friends and then he proceeded to inappropriately touch her ass. Blatant sexual assault even if you’re high on weed you know not to do that shit. The other guy took a while for me to realize how annoying He was. He had his moments where he was all nice and chill but if he had a bad day or you just annoyed him too much he would completely blow up in your face losing his mind. He did this a lot to one of my friends and eventually my friend just refused to talk him even in group chats and he just ended up leaving on his own and now I’m pretty glad for it. Both these mfs were toxic as fuck and Klaus always reminds me of them whenever I see that character.

not only was the show bad but there were literally so many editing mistakes. When ben and jennifer are at the gas station you can see the camera in the car and then i think the last ep where they are all sitting on the couch there is a explosion outside n their reaction is so delayed to he noise its so badly off sync. I would of rather them just ended the show with 3 and never did this

7:15 Its not really inconsistent. Your video was made before season 4 so of course you didn't have all the explanations but Neuman and Marie aren't inherently Durable. They use their blood powers to make themselves durable. Which is why Neuman can survive point blank headshots but also cut herself with the knife and is how Butcher killed her in season 4 because she couldn't control her blood powers when he covered her eyes. Again these were revealed in season 4 before the writing of your video so not a slight on you just something they implied later in the series

The whole season was horrible but the writers could’ve wrote the ending completely different. Even though it sounds corny, I would’ve really liked to see all of them duke it out in an attempt to stop Ben and Jennifer. It’s almost like they gave up in the end and just wanted to finish the show. If they were going to sacrifice themselves, why not fight until the end?

In such short screen time where they had to explain and resolve so many things they took half of the time for jean and jean bullshit, why did they need so much screen time ? they wasted precious time on things people didnt care about focused on all the wrong story elements and characters, missed opportunities is number ones greiving of sloan, more depth into hargreaves wife who is the reason for everything, more about marigold , train station etc

100% the series ends with the last episode of season 3. Season 4 was fanfiction. The only take away from season 4 is an idea of how the Brellis live their lives after losing their powers. I genuinely hope, though this is certainly not going to happen, that Netflix sets a precedent and decides to reshoot season 4 and give the show the true ending it deserves. The way season 4 ends isn't just bad to the audience or the characters, it is downright insulting. Its character assassination, but more than that it is antithetical to the meaning of the first three seasons, that they should love themselves and don't deserve to die even if that means the world is better off. That's why they save Viktor in season 1. They realized that they were just as guilty as their father in pushing Viktor into the tragedy that befell them and decided that they love him so much they'd rather risk everything and everyone to save him. Season 2 pays it off, he comes to be a more thoughtful and kind character and in season 3 he starts to find self love and acceptance, to not be defined by his past. The whole show was a love letter to humanity saying that sufferers of parental neglect and abuse shouldn't view themselves as broken beyond repair, and rather should come to love themselves and not be defined by what they endured, to take it all and struggle to become better people. By the end of season 3 Viktor, Luther, Five, Diego, Klaus, and Lila have all made strides toward being better versions of themselves, even Ben began taking his first steps, and I like to think even Reggie did too during the wedding speech before backsliding. Meanwhile Alison starts the series out at the end of a character journey and resolved to be a better person. She carries that energy to the end of the season, wanting so badly to save Viktor and be a better sister. Season two sees her set her roots and really explore her limits, and in season three after she has lost everything she bares her fangs and lashes out at anything that moves for all the unintended betrayal she has faced. She is looking for someone to blame because sitting with all of that emotion and grief hurts so much and she begins to lose trust in what little she has left. It is when Viktor, the one she gave everything up for, is revealed to have not trusted her that one straw too many has been placed on the camels back, sending her into a downward spiral of negative character regression. I believe this sets her up perfect for season 4 to really explore sitting with what she did in season 3 and coming back around to the conclusion of her powers she reached before the series began but with lessons from season two mixed in. Also, man, I really don't understand why they couldn't have just done a cute platonic thing where Five and Lila just become best friends and trust eachother implicitly now. Why did it have to be a romance. I see potential in them developing a cringy duo bond where they just roll off of eachother in conversations to the point it begins to annoy Diego and that gets played for humor. The love triangle feels like an idea one of the writers parents gave them after having the whole story summarized in ten to fifteen minutes, it is so obviously a terrible route that the whole time the montage of them lost in the timelines was playing I was kind of proud of the show for showing two characters of differing gender expression being friends without catching feelings. They could have played Lila as still in love with Diego and could have even had Five say "you're too young for me" or "I'll never date again after Delores." Literally anything else... Ugh. I still love this show though. S1-S3 was a great ride. I am so glad the show never got a fourth season 💀

And yet we would all watch another season without fail.

I really think it's the limited amount of episodes that just rammed down the quality of the season. Tho I did love some stuff, it didnt fit as well in the whole story. I did love Five throughout the whole series (the actor himself did an amazing job holy crap)
